Xeviora
Engineered for stability, high thermal conductivity, and extreme mechanical durability in harsh environments.
Chile is leading Latin America’s industrial modernization and green energy transitions. Driven by ambitious national programs like the "Ruta Energética" and stringent electrical standards set by the Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles (SEC), the demand for highly efficient LED technologies has surged. Municipalities across Santiago, Valparaíso, and Concepción are rapidly converting public lighting to smart LED systems. Furthermore, Chile’s vast mining sector—centered in high-altitude zones like Antofagasta—requires heavy-duty, explosion-proof LED installations that can survive intense UV radiation, seismic vibration, and extreme temperature swings.
To support this green shift, traditional FR4 circuit boards are no longer sufficient. Modern industrial luminaires utilize Metal Core PCBs (MCPCBs) designed with aluminum or copper substrates. These boards offer heat dissipation levels up to 10 times higher than standard glass-epoxy boards, ensuring that the light-emitting diodes run cool and survive their rated 50,000 to 100,000-hour lifetimes. As an expert manufacturer, Xeviora integrates thermal design with computing power, supplying not only the PCB base layers but also the high-frequency RAM and server heatsinks necessary to run local telemetry, edge AI processing, and smart grid systems.
Technical parameters engineered to withstand the Atacama Desert's UV levels and Patagonia's freezing humidity.
In high-power LED assemblies, heat is the ultimate enemy. A junction temperature elevation above 85°C dramatically reduces an LED's color stability, lumen output, and overall lifetime. Our PCB manufacturing protocols are tailored to address these thermodynamic challenges through robust material engineering.
Depending on the power density of the luminaire, we offer three main types of base metals:
The dielectric layer is the critical component of an MCPCB: it must insulate the copper traces electrically while conducting heat directly to the metal plate. We utilize ceramic-filled polymer dielectrics that optimize this balance, providing electrical isolation up to 6kV AC while keeping the thermal resistance layer under 0.05°C·in²/W.
Chile's extensive coastline (Valparaíso, Iquique) and highly corrosive salt spray require superior board protection. Standard HASL (Hot Air Solder Leveling) can experience accelerated degradation under high salinity. We recommend and manufacture with:
Why modern infrastructure requires a holistic approach combining boards, thermal dissipation, and logic control.
Modern municipal street lighting is no longer just about emitting light. Smart poles across Santiago integrate IoT sensors, ambient air quality monitors, traffic cameras, and localized 5G nodes. This requires robust local processing units operating 24/7 in harsh outdoor cabinets.
At Xeviora, we leverage our 12 years of memory module expertise and 8 years of international export logistics to provide the complete system stack. As smart poles collect operational metrics, edge computers need reliable, low-power storage and high-frequency memory, such as our DDR4 and DDR5 ECC RAM. These modules ensure zero corruption in local databases, preventing system crashes during sudden power fluctuations.
Complementing our PCBs and RAM, we supply active and passive thermal solutions, including high-performance AM5 server heatsinks and BGA CPU coolers. By managing thermal loads from the logic chips and the LED arrays simultaneously, we deliver unmatched system uptime for industrial projects throughout Chile.
A trusted partner delivering certified electronic products to Latin America's largest industries.
Our manufacturing facility in China utilizes state-of-the-art SMT lines, automated optical inspection (AOI), and multi-stage functional testing. Each LED PCB and memory module undergoes dynamic burn-in testing to simulate extreme operating temperatures (-40°C to +85°C). Our QA team consists of 46 experienced inspectors who oversee incoming material validation (IQC), in-process inspection (IPQC), and final quality assurance (FQA) before packaging.
We work in alignment with global certification frameworks, ensuring all boards and components comply with RoHS, CE, FCC, and UL specifications, making them fully compliant with Chile's SEC imports standards. With logistics experience spanning over 8 years, we streamline customs documentation to expedite clearances at major Chilean ports like Valparaíso, San Antonio, and Iquique, providing duty-optimized HS code classification.
Our continuous investment in research and development shapes the future of thermal and digital components.
Deploying advanced ceramic substrates (Al2O3 and AlN) to achieve a thermal conductivity exceeding 180 W/m·K, targeted at heavy-duty mining floodlights in Antofagasta.
Reducing dielectric thickness to 50 microns to lower thermal impedance, while utilizing high Glass Transition Temperature (Tg > 170°C) laminates for harsh environment smart grids.
Expanding our wholesale DDR5 memory catalog with ruggedized, conformal-coated modules designed to operate in high-altitude mining computing centers.
Transitioning to completely halogen-free flame retardants and introducing 100% recycled copper cladding options to support Chile's ESG objectives.
Insights on technical design, regulatory compliance, and logistics when importing to Chile.
All finished electronic devices and luminaires imported into Chile must comply with the regulations set by the Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles (SEC). While bare PCBs do not always require individual SEC certificates, they must meet RoHS and UL 94V-0 standards to ensure they pass end-product testing. We provide full material certifications and testing documentation with every shipment to support your SEC approval process.
We deploy a comprehensive testing regime. For PCBs, this includes 100% AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), electrical testing (flying probe or test fixture), and solderability checks. For our RAM modules (DDR4/DDR5), we utilize specialized hardware test rigs to perform full cycle tests at rated frequencies, as well as high-temperature aging chambers to screen out early-life failures.
For mining sites where environments are dusty, warm, and highly abrasive, we recommend Metal Core PCBs (MCPCBs) using Aluminum 5052 or Copper bases. The higher thermal dissipation prevents thermal throttling, keeps the operating temperature stable, and avoids cracking under vibration compared to standard, brittle FR4 boards.
For sea freight shipments, the transit time is typically 30 to 45 days. For urgent prototypes or high-priority industrial components, we utilize express air courier services (DHL, FedEx, UPS) which deliver to Santiago or Iquique within 5 to 9 business days, complete with tracking and customs brokerage support.
